"RE: "note bleu" from the dropper" I guess it's all subjective, but the album version of Note Bleu has never really struck me as especially "disjointed" - especially in the context of the rest of the album. In fact, I'd say it's possibly the most straight forward tune on the album (which is my favorite by the way). Not sure what you're hearing, I suppose there is a bit of ambience at the start of the track, and Ribot has some moments of odd phrasing and harmonies in his accompaniment, but overall, a very straightforward track in my opinion.
