1. "RE: Neighborhood Theat..show with special guests."

Michael Bellar formed the As-Is Ensemble about 15 years ago. The group has changed over the years, so each of the 3 CDs has different musicians.
The present trio is by far the best and they are releasing their first CD on this upcoming tour.

The bass player, Rob Jost is a very busy musician on the NY scene and has toured with Imogene Heap and others.
The drummer, Brad Wentworth is also a busy freelance musician in NY. His twin brother is a sub bassist in the NY Philharmonic and his parents are professors at ASU.
They, the AS-IS Ensemble, opened for Scofield at the Neighborhood Theatre.
Michael Bellar toured with Art Garfunkel as his pianist for a couple of years and currently plays with Amos Lee (for the past 2 or more years).
Amos Lee's band opened for the Dylan/Elvis Costello tour and an Al Green performance at Wolf Trap.
Certainly, these guys are worth checking-out!
