Solid, solid show. 2nd set had some serious Sco-Medeski moments. They were really rockin' out about 30min into set 2, serious jammin'.Sco got better as the night went along. Yea, I know how great he is, but playing with mmw has gotta be hard f'in work! They definitely are incredibly challenging on guests...and their audience! haha! Good crowd, hope for the same saturday. Sorry, no setlist, it seemed like the standard set, with Julia, A Go-Go and many from the new record. No special guests, maybe manana. There were 4 tapers, so it'll find it's way on etree eventually.
Peace, RD

I agree, it was a great show. Opened with Hanuman> Tequila & Chocolate, Tuttie Ma, Little Walter and then a very rockin improv, i heard many Miles Behind hints, I believe thats the song they played to close the set. Set Two, wow..killed, the Deadzy > What Now was f'n amazin'! Chank, NNO encore.. solid show

My final assessment on this MSMW tour: I enjoyed seeing MMW play with Scofield, its great to see them with a talented guitarist on stage that can connect and play with the band. However, considered the material in which they are playing are from only 2 albums, it limits the artistic creative ability of the artists. I'm not bashing them, I really enjoyed the shows, but I think I'm ready to see MMW once again.
