Medeski in Philly (Postponed) | Martin in NYC | May 1

Billy Martin will perform live soundtracks with Cyro Baptista at the Stone NYC, May 1st. For more infomation click here. Here is one of Billy's new films (shot on 16mm) that will be projected in high resolution.

John Medeski, on the other hand, will be making the trip down to Philadelphia to perform a solo piano concert at World Cafe Live to promote his new solo album "A Different Time" - you can purchase tickets here.

John Medeski releases his first solo album “A Different Time” on OKeh

A Different Time (out April 9 – the first release on Sony Classical’s newly-revived OKeh Records imprint) is a more introspective, meditative collection than fans of MMW’s lively, groove-driven music might expect. Consisting mostly of Medeski’s own compositions and improvisations, with a familiar spiritual and a Willie Nelson song added into the mix, the album presents a different side of Medeski’s prodigious artistry.

Blue Note Residency

Medeski Martin & Wood announces a week-long residency at the legendary Blue Note club in New York City in December. The band perform 2 shows each night (8:00 & 10:30PM) December 11 - 16, 2012.
